Here are my new-to-me short pants which I hemmed yesterday. They are probably a little longer than they should be, but I’m short, so it’s fine. I do love this silhouette. I also love my new-to-me, real-deal-made-in-England Doc Martens I got on Poshmark. They do still make them in the UK, but they are about $150 new. I found these for half that and they are like new, so I’m pretty chuffed. (Just wanted to use “chuffed” in a sentence.) I am waiting on new laces, though.
Speaking of Poshmark, I’ve started selling a few things from my closet on there. I am raising money to pay for a new travel backpack since I expect I will be doing a lot of traveling next year. You can check out my goods here. There are a number of fair trade items. Everything is pre-owned by me. I do not purchase items to resell. It hurts my soul to see fair trade, handmade, and good quality items go for next to nothing at a yard sale or given to the thrift store. If you see something you want but think the price is too high, make an offer! I’d be excited for them to go to a good home.
I am challenging myself to blog every day, even if it’s just a little thing, like hemmed short pants. I have also worked up to running again. (Using “running” loosely, because it’s really a jog.) I’m still doing half elliptical and half treadmill, but slowly and surely I am running without hurting myself! I have missed running. I’ve also lost 10 pounds on Noom, and I have about 20 more to go.
I still have a few centimeters to knit on the body of the Lilac Heather Cumulus Blouse before I can work the i-cord bind off, which I worked on yesterday. Other than that, it’s back to work today. I got a good review last week so I’m super happy about that!
Have a great Monday!
Cool pants and ooh, the Docs!

Cute pants! What a bargain you got on the Docs!
I’m short too (5’1”) and have a terrible time getting pants. They’re always too long even capris end up pants length.

I like the pants. I really wish you had bigger feet, as I love your taste in shoes. I’ve been thinking about trying noom, as I’ve been really lazy with ww lately and think a change might do me good.
