I’m working most of the weekend so I took today off and went to the studio.
Almost jeans! I wanted you to see a little of the pocket so you can see the plaid fabric.
Look at that yoke and those back pockets!
I don’t know what’s going on with all those wrinkles. Hopefully they’ll wash out.
I ordered a metal zipper and jeans button from Japan with a special tool for putting on said button. (¥3,643. Spared no expense.) Once they arrive I’ll finish these up!
I also finished the left sleeve on Lilac Heather Cumulus Blouse. Ready to pick up those armhole stitches on sleeve 2!
Look at these buttons I found in my stash. They go so perfectly with my pleated blouse fabric. I hope they’re the right size and I have enough. I have six, so hopefully.
Today I have enjoyed listening to the 80’s New Wave station on Pandora. Isn’t it funny how music from our youth can make us feel young again? I’m definitely going to be listening to more 80’s music. Here’s my top pick from today.
Your jeans look great! I love the plaid inside:)
Your sweater is so pretty!

I am incredibly impressed that you are making jeans. You are basically a crafting rockstar. The sweater looks great too. That song is going to be stuck in my head for the rest of the night.
