I am planning to take today off and spend some time in my craft corner with my new sewing machine and serger. I would also like to start my fourth Tread hat for Hans.
Work has been so busy that my brain has been on duty every moment of the day, it seems. For this reason, and in honor of Terry Jones who has shuffled off his mortal coil, I have named this post “My Brain Hurts.”
Do you try to catch snow sparkles with your camera? This is the best I could do. These photos were taken while I was in Wisconsin.
I hope we get some snow this winter!

I haven’t seen the snow for many years now.
But I still remember the sparkles on snow on a beautiful sunny day in north of Japan, Hokkaido, so bright and shining ❄️❄️

Enjoy the day off! We’ve had some sparkly snow here lately, mostly because of the slight melt than very cold temps. I would be happy to send you some of ours, when we get more. We are still melting off the Thanksgiving blizzard; we usually get back to bare ground in between big storms, but not this year I guess. It’s still better than Fargo, so I can’t complain!

My sewing machine is just back from its first service (it is about 25 years old!) I need some inspiration for now using it to make something, so I’m looking forward to what you make with your new machine.
