My favorite place to knit is on the hammock on the front porch in front of a fire in the chimenea.
I don’t knit here very often, but it was a nice day and Sarah recently blogged about knitting outside. I remembered how I used to love to sit outside and knit and read and listen to music. So I took a half day of PTO today and made a fire. I’ve been knitting on my sock and listening to Guardians of the Galaxy Awesome Mix Volumes 1 and 2. It reminds me of my boys. We used to listen to it in the car quite a lot.
Today I was visited by our neighbor boys. They remind me of my boys when they were little. They wanted to dig up our house so it would fall down. I told them to go for it.
Sometimes JoJo visits me on the hammock.
Sometimes she does this and chews on my needles so I can’t knit. But that’s ok.
I finished the gusset and it’s easy knitting and listening from here on out.

Snakes & Cranes 
I do 99.9% of my knitting in my rocking arm chair that was my grandads. In my dreams I would live somewhere with warm enough weather to have an American style house with a wrap around porch with a swing and comfy chairs. Where I could sit in the shade and be warm.

Most of my knitting is done in front of rubbish telly but I really like knitting in the garden listening to the river flowing by and the ducks and swans getting worked up about whatever 🐦🐥🐦

I love knitting on my back patio, hearing the birds and enjoying the breeze. The other six months of the year I like knitting in the big recliner in our living room.

Favorite place to knit? With others, any place, any time. That’s not an option now, though. When at home, I usually knit in the gorgeous and comfortable hand crafted rocking chair given us as a wedding gift. Camping, in my zero-gravity chair next to the camper. That gives me a small table (the fender on the dual wheel) and I can use magnets to attach patterns to the side of the camper.
