I haven’t made any progress since Friday, but it won’t be long now.
Sarah is hosting sock knitalongs this summer. This is my theme-appropriate TurtlePurl yarn: Double Rainbow for Pride month and Mistletoe Kisses for Christmas in July. I’m going to knit plain socks, I’ve decided… probably short, plain socks.
Stay Home stitch markers from Katrinkles for my monthly club. The split-level is my favorite. I turned over the one that looks like the White House.
I am feeling a little better today. I think it is allergies. That’s what I get for sitting outside on Friday afternoon!
This morning Bob and I watched a heron on our neighbors’ pond. We were agog with delight, until I watched it eat one of their fish.
Allergies have started here:( We all have them which makes it sound like weโre all sick as we sniffle, sneeze and cough.
Your socks are beautiful!!

My parents have a koi carp pond and before they put up some serious netting a heron had a couple for lunch…these are pretty huge fish! I love that mistletoe coloured yarn.

I really like the socks you are working on. You picked great yarn for the KALs. I can’t wait to hear what you think of Turtle Purl, as they are on my list of dyers I want to try. Katrinkles has the coolest things. I want all of her buttons.

Knitters gotta knit and herons gotta eat. Readers gotta read too, so thanks for your posts.
