I’m making good progress on my Pumpkin Spice Latte socks. Nevermind that they weren’t on my original list. I chose the open twisted rib stitch for my cuffs because it reminds me of the frothy heart a barista would make with the latte foam.

You can see that I’m making some progress on my Arachne body. You can also see my floats are pulling a little, but I think it will block out. There is no way I have enough yarn for this and Quince and Co is out. I’ve signed up to be notified once it’s back in stock.
Other than that, honestly I haven’t been doing much other than work. I am journaling some. And I’ve started running at intervals, which feels great.
Something cool happened, though. The Livestock Conservancy reached out and asked if they could use my podcast on a grant application. That made me happy. C19 really knocked the wind out of my sails regarding the podcast. I’m not sure what’s going to happen with it.
This has been a Year of Projects Update. You can read my original list here. You can find out more about the group here.
I guessing that your journal entries will feed your future creative efforts.

your arachne now has a green tint, is it the case also in real life? Those socks will be gorgeous!

No, it doesn’t look green on my phone but I did edit the photo. Maybe it’s that?

or maybe it is my monitor – or my eyes, I always argue with my husband on colours, whether something is green, blue or black. I’ll show him the picture and ask what he sees!

I have journaled for over 20 years. 1 page of notebook paper both sides filled. It has made me happy and peaceful and rid my life of all negativity…well, most anyway! LOL! I also write 10 things I’m grateful for which helps me focus on the best life has to offer. I also walk almost every day if it’s not too hot. Nature is good for the soul. Keep up the good work!
I love your socks…the color and cuff with the barista touch! I love WYS yarn. Your Arachne is gorgeous. Too bad about them being out of yarn but that’s why it’s good to have more than one project going at a time although I may have taken that bit of advice too far. Have a great week!
Congrats on your recognition!

I too like the color of your latte socks. I had a bad experience with WYS yarn so I’m glad to see others like it. I ordered some Christmas socks and the colors turned out to be so blah that I wouldn’t knit the yarn. I gave it away.

I love your socks, and I’m trying very hard to stop myself from buying that yarn. Your sweater is looking great too.

I like the pumpkiny color of your sock yarn. I haven’t tried that brand yet. I’m waiting for TJ’s to come out with their pumpkin tea and cans of pumpkin. I plan to stock up this year. Last year I only had bought a tin of the tea and they weren’t sold anymore after October! I was not happy.

Love your socks, and the Arachne is quite something. Is there going to be a spider in there somewhere?

I have a spider pin to wear in it. 😊
