Happy Halloween! It’s my favorite holiday, as you may have guessed. I’m wearing my Sleepy Hollow dress and Cemetery Drive cowl today.
I have a leather jacket that an artist I know painted, and I love wearing it. But I don’t always love having the back of my jacket painted as it attracts a lot of attention. So I purchased a used, plain leather jacket on Poshmark and I’m very happy with it. I wouldn’t buy a new one, but a used one feels less harmful.
I haven’t been blogging much lately. I’m knitting and sewing here and there. I had another “this is my hobby not my job” epiphany. Work has been busy with events for Fair Trade Month. And now we’re moving into the holidays. It feels very sudden!

I needed a knitting pick me up, so I stash-dove and decided to knit an Aurealis sweater. I’m just now starting the short row shaping on the neck, so not much to see yet. I’ve updated my Year of Projects list.

I sewed some monster PJ pants for Bob.

This Halloween Livie shawl won’t be done today, so I may pack it away for next fall.
What about you? Any Halloween makes this year? Are you ready for the holiday season to begin?
The sweater pattern you have chosen is pretty. I like how the idea of using a gradient or variegated yarn in the colorwork yoke. Your cowl is cute as are the pajama pants. Enjoy Halloween.

You are definitely dressed for the day! No Halloween at my house (long story), but I am ready for the holiday season. Girl #2 may be here for a week before Thanksgiving, which is very exciting, and I started my second secret knitting project this morning…it includes dancing goats!

Happy Halloween 🎃 I love your cowl and it’s perfect with your jacket and dress. Awesome projects on your needles too.

The only Halloweeny stuff I’ve done has been the photos on my blog – I like the holiday, but obviously not as much as you do! I guess my wardrobe just doesn’t have room for single holiday stuff in it!

Well I lit my Winnie the Pooh Halloween lantern on Saturday night when we watched Strictly but was so tired yesterday I I couldn’t find the energy to look for a new tealight for it.

I never lit my porch lantern, which is a terra cotta jack’o lantern. Time to pack it away!

Love your Halloween outfit! I haven’t/didn’t make anything specifically for Halloween this year but I am definitely feeling the pull of the fall color palette right now!

I love your Halloween outfit! I wore a themed shirt and socks, but nothing handmade this year.
I 100% agree: blogging and crafting are hobbies for me, too, and not jobs. Sometimes I think we all need that reminder, though.

Love your Halloween outfit! All your projects are just beautiful 🙂 Did Bob like his PJs? The holidays do seem sudden this year somehow.

Yes, Bob likes PJs but he wishes they had pockets. So I’ll add pockets next time. I have some Canada, Eh? flannel fabric for the next ones.

LOL! Pockets do make everything better 🙂

I have that fabric in my stash that you used for the PJs – you are inspiring me to use it. The cowl looks great and your new haircut makes you look so hip and stylish!

You have the BEST Halloween projects! The cowl, the shirt, those bad-ankle PJ pants! That shawl could also be vaguely “Fall” as well!! No need to stop (wink, wink! Its pretty and I want to see how it looks worked up!).
