I’ll be traveling this week so I started some socks for the road. These are for Bob, and are from the Knit Spin Farm Little Known Holidays monthly subscription. The colorway is Blueberry Popover Day. The yarn is sport weight Targhee, which is new for me for socks. I’m also using flips that Marilee sent to me, and am mixing it up with 2X2 rib. Living dangerously!
Looks good!

Bob is such a lucky man! Great socks and you, too! 😍 Meant to tell you how neat it is that your greenhouse has you eating beautiful fresh greens, already! And the pants to culottes move was a winner, too! I also have a little traveling project. It is a small, crocheted bag with a flap and shoulder strap to carry my cell when I am missing a pocket. It is of a very pretty fingering wt. variegated dark berry tones merino by Malabrigo. A perfect one skein project. Enoy your travels!

OMG, I love that yarn! It’s so fun. And the contrast color (for toes, heels, and cuff, I presume?) it just perfect.

How do you like the flips? I’m thinking of starting that colorway next.

The flips are okay. I’m getting the hang of them. My BOR gap was big, though. I fixed it but I think that is something to watch with flips. I still prefer the magic loop, I think.
