This is sewing at its best! Perfect pattern and getting the job done with great fabric on hand. Love the knitting mermaid! And the Carpe Filum banner which I think loosely translates to Seize the Fiber! I’m all for that!.

Awesome! I need a simple pattern to get back into the swing of sewing. I know I *can* do the more complicated patterns, but they’re really intimidating when I haven’t touched my machine for more than repairs in so long.
